Again, the best time for viewing is in autumn and winter, because the sky will be at it’s darkest.

The rushing sound of the North Saskatchewan River near Drayton Valley as you gaze into the night sky creates a magical ambiance. I’ve spent countless nights here, and every time, the reflection of stars on the water takes my breath away. The river valley helps you to feel quite secluded, but it’s a short drive away from Drayton Valley and all it’s amenities.
