Carmen and Jason Roberts-Kowalchuk owners of Elevated Experience Camping Inc. proudly operate Willey West Campground, a family-friendly camping facility that offers a total of 100 sites for your camping enjoyment.
Situated along the shores of the North Saskatchewan River, Willey West Campground is located in Central Alberta and only 6 kilometers east of Drayton Valley with picturesque views.
Willey West Campground is seasonally open for campers May- September yearly with a 24 hour Caretaker on-site, while hiking trails throughout the campground are accessible all year round.
The park-like setting is surrounded by towering trees, a variety of birds, wildlife and flowers.
Willey West Campground offers an on-site boat launch which provides great access to river boating, canoeing and paddling, fishing and swimming.

Raising a family of 6 children and 4 dogs has taught us a lot about the need to establish mechanisms in your life where you just sit back and reconnect with the simpler things in life. Camping was always our simpler way of life and although we have many magical memories of our camping adventures there were always nuances we saw that we felt could be done better. We are here to fill that gap!!! We want camping to be the escape from your busy life, and the place you make unforgettable friends and memories.
We know what campers want!!! We get it, a simpler life but with a twist. Yes we have all become accustomed to having our needs met right at our fingertips, but while camping???? Whether you want to enjoy the basics of camping or prefer the finer amenities that current life offers, rest assure, Elevated Experience Camping will be able to provide you the perfect camping experience.

It’s About “Goat” Yoga
What is Goat Yoga? It is about different things for different people. We have heard it described as “calm”, “therapy”, “zen”, and just plain “happiness.” However, there is one recurrent description…”unexpected.”
Unexpected certainly describes the path to Goat Yoga.
Goat Yoga is Animal-Assisted Therapy in a natural setting with an unexpectedly (there’s that word again) smart, social, and profoundly cuddly animal. It’s not a cancer cure, but it IS an unbelievable distraction from politics, work, stress, sickness or depression.
Goats are not trained to participate in Goat Yoga classes. It is believed in letting goats be goats, and doing (within reason) what they want. They might jump on your back, stare into your soul, burp in your ear, or give goat hugs (trust me, it’s a thing).
Most often they’ll just lay down on your yoga mat and snuggle up next to you…just as you perfect your pose.
